Back from the Alps – more on that shortly. I saw some nice bikes out there (along with some very dubious outfits that would appear to knock any grand unified theory of Euro Cool into a cocked hat) – lots of pretty dull stuff too, but some of the titanium glinting in the Savoyard sun was really beautiful. Enough to tempt me to stick up some pictures of quality metal bikes I’ve seen recently. Nick’s Baum in particular is amazing! And Rob’s new folding / travel road bike is superb and (as usual) exquisitely engineered – loving the Rolf wheels too.
